SHEA BUTTER BENEFITS

What sets Shea Butter apart from other oils is its outstanding healing properties. The outstanding healing fraction in Shea butter is usually 5% or greater.  Shea butter has even been known to have a healing fraction as high as 17%.  In other seed oils like Cocoa butter or the other ones mentioned earlier, the healing fraction is very small, often in the range of 1% or less.  Despite the good to excellent moisturizing fraction found in these oils, these oils contain little or no healing fraction.  Remember, the larger the healing fraction, the more abundant is the healing ingredients for your entire body.  The nonsaponifiable fraction contains all of the important phytonutrients responsible for its healing properties. Here is a review of the nutrients and agents that make up the nonsaponifiable fraction responsible for healing your skin and body.

  • Vitamin E
  • Cinnamic Acid
  • Triterpenes
  • Phenolic acid
  • Phytosterols
